Tuesday Nights

Club sessions, meeting at the cricket club, start at at 7.30pm on Tuesdays.


During the light nights there are two routes available to run. They vary from around 3 to 6 miles.

In the winter months we're pretty much restricted to running up to and through Prudhoe and back with different turnaround points depending on how you feel! The longest run is normally about 5.75 miles.

Most Tuesdays there's also a head torch run, details are posted on Facebook and email

Rules of the road:

1 - The whole group should gather in the car park and set off at the same time. This will stop us getting too strung out along the route.

2 - Before setting off, find at least one other person to run with for the whole route. If one of you has to slow down to stick together, then that compromise is worth it so nobody is on their own. Tuesdays are meant to be social runs and as a wise man once said "A mile is always better with a friend"!

3 - Don't let anybody run on their own. If you see this happening, slow down/catch up with them and stick with them.


Thursday Night Training (TNT)

The Thursday night training sessions include speed work, hills, intervals etc. 

The sessions start at 7pm and usually meet at the Regents Drive Industrial Estate

There's normally three groups, slow, medium and fast, lead by at least one of our Leaders in Running Fitness.

During the light nights some sessions, which can involve mud(!), will start elsewhere. Details will be emailed and posted on Facebook.


Weekend Runs

Organised on an ad hoc basis, watch out for emails and Facebook updates for details.
